After all of the hype of Part 1 and Part 2 of the Nometet.com Game of the Year awards, finally its the time for the final part, where we're revealing our winners.
And finally, the Nometet.com Game of the Year:
Statistically: Dead Space
![]()
Alex Denning: Rock Band 2
![]()
Nometet: Crysis Warhead
![]()
Sam Atkins: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
![]()
Roger Batchelor: Fable 2
![]()
Rhys Simons: Super Smash Bros Brawl
![]()
Unmouldeddoor3: Spore
![]()
And the winners are: Ok, we've slightly chickened out here, but there have been so many games this year that deserve our coveted top spot, there isn't a single game that stands out as far ahead of the pack.
Statistically, Dead Space was the best game of the year, with a score of 9.4. Spore closely followed, with a 9.3. But then, we didn't have the pleasure of reviewing Metal Gear Solid 4, and Rock Band 2 hasn't had anything published yet. Crysis Warhead, Fable 2 and Super Smash Bros Brawl were all thoroughly enjoyable for us., and shouldn't be missed.
So the winners? All of the games nominated for Game of the Year are quite simply, outstanding and its for that reason that Dead Space, Rock Band 2, Crysis Warhead, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Fable 2, Super Smash Bros Brawl and Spore are all worthy winners of the Nometet.com Game of the Year award - Alex
