<itunes:summary>Nometalk returns today with a look atnbsp;Battlefield Bad Company 2, in a special shortened episode as Will is on holiday and me talking for half an hour probably won't make the best podcast!
They know no fear, they know no danger...
Will does however make an appearance in our pre-recorded look atnbsp;Bad Company 2 where we give you the real story behind a game that everyone compares tonbsp;Modern Warfare 2... by doing just that and comparing it tonbsp;Modern Warfare 2. All hope is not lost though! We did come to some firm conclusions, awarding the game a very respectable 4 stars -- as we mention, the lack of local multiplayer is a massive blow to an otherwise solid and enjoyable game.

Enjoy an abridged version of the Nometet.com Podcast, Nometalk!

		<itunes:subtitle>Unknown Agenda</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Nometalk proudly makes it's return today. It's been some time since we last released an episode at which point we were actually getting quite good at the whole podcast thing. This episode actually sounds quite good, bar the inaudible beginning which I had to re-record when I wasn't nearly as... excited. That's why it sounds a bit different.

In episode one of the fourth series, we had very little of an agenda but after some editing it's actually a surprisingly good episode where I and Will discuss how no-one appreciates indie developers, nbsp;why Bad Company 2 isn't anything like Modern Warfare 2 something no reviewer seems to be able to get over, which iPhone games are any good and of course we have a good old moan at the chart and new releases.

You can't blame us. The chart is still filled with the same Wii crap as nine months ago.

That and more in this week's episode of Nometalk, appropriately titled Unknown Agenda.

You want more? Ok. Fine. I was meant to be joined by both podcast regular Will Anderson and new podcast co-host Stephen Green, but as Will wasn't on Skype, it was just me and Steven. In this week's episode, you can actually hear what we're saying! Wow! As you can actually hear us in this episode, I'll say no more and just let you listen to it.

<itunes:summary>The Nometet.com podcast, Nometalk returns this week after a short pre-summer break.

Contrary to popular belief, I wasn't in the shower when this was recorded. A new mic has been ordered.

This week we've got a brilliant new feature 'Have I Got Gaming News For You' where Alex plays a clip and Will guesses We also take a look at the games available for the iPhone, impressed by Assassin's Creed and Paper Toss but not Need for Speed Undercover.

We also revisit Plants vs Zombies and The Sims 3. As if that wasn't enough, we've got the world's worst competition in which you can win a virtual t-shirt!

<itunes:summary>Good news! The sky has been put back up! As a result, Nometalk nbsp;returns this week, only for Alex and Will to find a Zombie on the lawn. Also in this week's episode we've finally got a Peggle mugs to give away! Well, I say that, but one of them has a chip and a crack in it, so for health and safety reasons we can't give it away. I'll rephrase that then - we've got anbsp;Peggle mug to give away! Details below.

Also this week, GLaDOS joins us. Kinda. And we talk about Battlefield Heroes, except the NDA says we're not allowed to. But Will disagrees and talks about it anyway. There is also the exciting new Twitter game: is the DSi any good? All that and a whole lot of totally unrelated chat in Nometalk: 2009.6.

Competition details.nbsp; The legal stuff - The closing date is Monday 4th May. Only one entry per person, and you must be in the UK to enter (it isn't going to make it in one piece abroad :P). Full terms here. To be in with a chance of winning, answer the following question - what is the name of the unicorn character in Peggle? To enter, send an email to alex (at) nometet.com with 'Peggle competition' in the title, and your answer the question in the body. Probably an idea to include your name too.

What you can win - imagine the mug below, in one piece. That's what you can win.

<itunes:summary>Nometalk returns when it is meant to!

Frankly, this podcast didn't go well. I recorded the podcast with Will a week ago, but it sounded really tinny so we had re-record it. Weirdly re-recording it it didn't soundnbsp; much better. And I didn't realise that playing 'rocky guitar loop' means you can't hear what I'm saying.nbsp; And my slight lack of ingenious editing skills means the chart, well, sounds awful. Oh, and for some reason we're joined by Tom Philips from ParaGamer.com. I still don't know why he's on the podcast. And to top it off, I was meant to record something with Nometet and edit it in, but I went on holiday and Nometet mysteriously disappeared. So you can forget that idea. Sorry. Awful update - I'm writing this post as I edit the podcast, and I've found that more of the bit we recorded on Saturday is tinny than I thought it was. Oops. So when you're listening to it, bear in mind that everything that could go wrong went wrong. Please.

But hey, whilst everything that could go wrong went wrong, we've still done a podcast and it sounds great! And for legal reasons, the views expressed in the podcast do not necessarily reflect the views of Nometet.com

Here's an idea - the podcast starts off great, but sound quality gradually deteriorates as it goes on, so hows about you listen to it when you're going to sleep, so you'll miss out the the bad bit and only hear the great bits!</itunes:summary>

In this episode we get off topic every couple of seconds and started talking about Peggle and Empire. In between talking about the two, we talk about Dawn of War II and GTA: Chinatown Wars. We also take a look at some racing games: Need for Speed Undercover, Midnight Club LA and Pure. And there's the Twitter game.

All that and much more in Nometalk 2009.4: an RTS/Racing special

<itunes:summary>Nometalk returns once again, and this time it is only Alex and Nometet as Will has disappeared off the face of the planet. This time, the team are talking Xbox Live Arcade games, or XBLA games. We run through and down seven of the newest and or best XBLA games, with a decisive verdict: buy or don't buy. We take a look at Castle Crashers, The Maw, R-Type Dimensions, Portal: Still Alive, Banjo-Kazooie, Feeding Frenzy 2 and Braid.

Also in this episode, we actually do have five copies of Lord of the Rings Conquest on DS to give away (unlike last time!). To enter, all you've got to do is send an email with your name in the body and Lord of the Rings Competition as the subject to alex (at) nometet (dot) com. You must be in the UK to enter and full terms (which you accept by entering) here.

All that and a bit more in this week's episode of the Nometet.com podcast, Nometalk.

Oh, and someone remind me to buy a windshield thing for the mic!
